And are you ready to place your best bets on the 2023 NFL Hall of Fame Game? Well, you're in luck: We have Browns vs. Jets odds and picks for you for Thursday night's 2023 NFL Hall of Fame Game.

Aaron Rodgers and Deshaun Watson aren't going to be suiting up, but Zach Wilson is expected to see action early for the Jets, while Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Kellen Mond should see the bulk of snaps for Cleveland.

What does that mean for the 2023 NFL Hall of Fame Game odds and our picks and best bets for Browns vs Jets? The under has historically been profitable for bettors in the Hall of Fame Game, although last year's edition saw the over hit late.

Check out the bets our staff of analysts are on tonight, including the side they're picking, as we break down the NFL Hall of Fame Game Odds, Picks: Best Bets for Browns vs Jets Preseason Game.

Sam Farley: If you're reading this then you, like me, are absolutely itching for the new NFL season to start.

Two people who don't seem to share that same enthusiasm are Kevin Stefanski and Robert Saleh as both coaches have made it clear that their starting quarterbacks won't be playing.

In fact, the Browns care so little about this game that they aren't even giving us a look at backup QB Joshua Dobbs. That means we'll see plenty of Kellen Mond and rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson out of UCLA, while the Jets will be relying on Zach Wilson with a little bit of Tim Boyle and Chris Streveler.

Both teams will be trying their best to get out of this game with no injuries. Judging by what the coaches have said so far, the Jets are more likely to play a marginally better team, which is why I'll be taking them on the moneyline.

Dylan Wilkerson: One hot topic was the lack of excitement during Thursday Night Football last season, so how fitting is it that the preseason kicks off with a Thursday Night Football game?

We know Wilson will start for the Jets and Mond will get things started at quarterback for the Browns. Betting on preseason football is about the known and the unknown, and we don't know much about Mond. He has a total of three pass attempts, all of which came in 2021.

On the other hand, we know about Wilson. He has much more experience than Mond at this level, "leading" the Jets to a 5-4 record last season when he was under center.

Mond got some time in last preseason with the Vikings but did not impress, so much so that the Vikings decided to waive him after the preseason last year. I'll take the more experienced QB in this NFL preseason opener.

Blake Krass: The Jets have been one of the biggest stories of the offseason with the addition of Aaron Rodgers, but the former Packers quarterback won’t be playing against the Browns. However, last year’s QB1 for the Jets, Zach Wilson, will be getting the start. Wilson was gravely disappointing last season, so much so that the Jets were forced to make the move for Rodgers.

Wilson was one of the worst starting QBs in the NFL last year, but is now is one of the more serviceable backups and could possibly thrive without the pressure of being QB1. Wilson has a lot of intangibles that could allow him to succeed, especially against some second-string defenders.

I think Wilson can lead the Jets to an early half-time lead, but things could take a turn for the worse for New York when they turn to Tim Boyle and Chris Streveler. On the other side, the Browns are starting Kellen Mond, who was unable to compete for the backup role in Minnesota last season.

However, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, an electric rookie, will be coming in after Mond and will most likely be playing for a roster/practice squad spot this preseason. I think Thompson-Robinson will be able to lead the Browns back from a halftime deficit and outduel the Boyle/Streveler duo, giving the Browns the win in Canton.
